Biography
Yahya Rahimi Sarab Shahraki was a 30-year-old tiler from a Sunni farming family in Sanandaj. On October 8, 2022, during the nationwide protests, he was shot in the head by government forces while sitting in his car and honking his horn in an act of civil disobedience. He was known as a hardworking and dedicated individual who had been working in his trade since 2016.
یحیی رحیمی سراب شهرکی، ۳۰ ساله و کاشیکار اهل سنندج، در یک خانواده کشاورز و اهل سنت به دنیا آمد. در تاریخ ۱۶ مهر ۱۴۰۱، در جریان اعتراضات سراسری، در حالی که در خودروی خود نشسته بود و به نشانه اعتراض بوق میزد، توسط نیروهای حکومتی از ناحیه سر هدف شلیک گلوله قرار گرفت و جان باخت. او فردی زحمتکش و فداکار توصیف شده است که از سال ۱۳۹۵ به حرفه کاشیکاری اشتغال داشت.
